Rainbow Wave Afghan Pattern

Rainbow Wave Crochet Afghan Pattern
Rainbow Wave Afghan Crochet Pattern

This afghan is really stunning. You can decide to crochet using the back loops as it is suggesting or do the regular stitches. Each has a unique way of looking. If you review my video tutorial on the bottom, you can clearly see the difference between the two stitching techniques. Personally, I don't think the back loops on this project is tough at all and looks far better.

Honestly speaking, this afghan takes a bit of getting started to count the stitches. You may think you are screwing up as it takes 2 rows to be done before it starts looking like the pattern. So stick with it and you will be happy.

For this pattern, I have not been able to figure out the multiple counts to make different width sizes.

Just found this Rainbow Waves Throw and it's beautiful. I see a notation about not knowing the pattern multiple but I'd really like to make this in a smaller size. Any ideas? Or, maybe someone has come up with a multiple they could share or a way to do it? I appreciate your time. 🙂

Try this design. It's similar. There is a stitch multiple of 22 chs + 6 to change the sizing. See this link: https://thecrochetcrowd.com/joann-fall-stitch-along-2021/ The bargellow bands scarf is adjustable and it's already noted.

The pattern calls for Red Heart Super Saver which is a worsted weight yarn (#4) and calls for a 5mm/H hook.
